Ms. N started working in our Tsukuba Plant in 2020. Belonging to the the Production Technology Section, she is responsible for the development and manufacturing of machines used inside our company.
Reason of Joining Our Company
I wanted to work in medical equipment manufacturer, and the professor of my university introduced me Kono Seisakusho Co., Ltd. Through the presentations by the company and job interviews, I was attracted by the challenging spirit and the atmosphere where I can challenge various things from a young age. That is the reason why I joined the company.
Recent Jobs
I am creating an equipment to measure the suture size* without contact.
The shape of the section of braided sutures is not a perfect circle**, so the result changes by the direction of the measurement. With advices from my Section Chief, Mr. A, I am considering the machine’s design.
*”Suture size” refers to the thickness of the suture. In our factory, we measure the suture size by sandwitching the suture.
**A braided suture consist of several thinner sutures, so its shape of section does not become a perfect circle.
Accomplishing Moments
I feel accomplished when the program I constructed functions as I expected. It is difficult to manufacture machines by imagining how it will be used in the factory. It gives me power when I watch the machines which I engaged in manufacturing actually working.
Spending Weekends
I stay at home and watch Japanese comedies on TV. The day is becoming warmer, so I want to start jogging which is my hobby.
Goals in the Future
Now, I want to complete the process of desiging, controlling and assembly of the machine on my own. In the future, I want to create machines by communicating with the staff members who engage in manufacturing.
Comments from the Boss
Ms. N thinks about the people surrounding her, and does her work before being told to do so. The ability to look and care others will help her in creating machines. Also, there are many female staffs working in our company, so I am expecting her to make a machine that is usable for women.
